RUROC ATLAS

This is a massive project Vladislav made for Ruroc Ltd. in 2018. The main task was to show the process of making of their brand new Atlas helmet in a visually interesting way. Vladislav created this sci-fi interior from scratch, prepared a few packs of concepts in different colour options to find the best solution. Also, Vladislav decided to make a fully animated rig for these robotic arms which are supposed to put all the helmet's details together. Everything is made inside Cinema 4D. Houdini was the main tool for smoke simulations. The process of making has taken around 5 weeks and also included rendering and compositing. Later in 2019 he had a pleasure to finish this campaign and a bunch of 3D content at Ruroc ltd in-house. As a result he created the trailer, the renders for the website, full CG images for the social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

This is the video Ruroc Ltd introduced as a part of marketing campaign to present the helmet design.

 

FIRST INITIAL TEASER

The main initial dark teaser to start hyping the product on all the social platforms. The task was to show the helmet’s shape but in the same time to avoid releasing all its features. The final result is dark, noir and agressive as the helmet itself.

FIRST CONCEPTS AND DESIGNS

Vladislav made a range of initial concepts to present the base idea. He wanted to make the scene look like a laboratory or a sci-fi interior. Dark, atmospheric and bold. The input requirement was to show the process of making of the Atlas helmet.
