TOKYO OLYMPICS 2020
This is a full CG ident Vladislav made for Tokyo Olympics in collaboration with the incredibly talented team from Golden Wolf UK. The main task was to create and visualise unique colourful retrowave / cyberpunk vibe and combine different Japanese design elements. As a result he built and animated this abstract cityscape scene full of reflections and neon signs.
Everything starts from idea and concepts. So the first thing in Vladislav’s to-do list was creating some static images to present his draft designs.
Vladislav was building the scene block by block, element by element until it started looking interesting and atmospheric. The main challenge was not to overload the scene combining so many elements in one composition, that’s why Vladislav concentrated on colour balance in each shot.
